Elevate Your Acting Skills in our Casting Workshop with Rae Hendrie.

Rae Hendrie is a Casting Director and Casting Associate who has been working in casting in tv and film for the last 10 years. In 2022, after 7 years at Julie Harkin Casting, Rae has started her own company, Rae Casting.

What's In Store For You?

🔹 Personalised Feedback: Rae will review your self-tape live on Zoom in groups of 6. Expect feedback that is insightful and actionable for future selftape requests. Your tape and feedback will be shared with 5 other actors in your group. 

🔹 Special Mention and Cash Prize: Chance to win a £100 cash prize! Rae will select a performer from the workshop who she considers a special mention. Four special mention actor tapes are uploaded to our social media and voted for by our followers. The winner takes home £100!

*If selected, your participation in the special mention competition is entirely up to you.

*Special mentions are subject to the privacy settings on scripts, allowing us to share online.

📆 Important dates :

Monday 26th February at 7pm - Selection of scenes sent to you.

Friday 1st March at 7pm - Deadline for selftapes sent to us.

Saturday 2nd March at 1pm - An email in which you can book your slot will be sent to those who have submitted a tape. Please be advised that every participant will have a slot allocated; however, specific time slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Monday 4th March from 6pm Rae's Zoom feedback sessions from 6-9pm. Each session lasts 40 minutes and accommodates up to 6 actors. Below, you'll find an example of the time slots for a full workshop. Please note that if the workshop isn't fully booked or some actors request emailed feedback instead, we'll adjust the schedule to ensure efficient use of time for our Casting Directors. This may involve starting with removing the last slot(s) in the day.

6 pm - 6:40 pm

6:40 pm - 7:20 pm

7:20 pm - 8:00 pm

8:00pm - 8:40 pm

8:40 pm - 9 pm

*Please be aware Industry professionals taking part are actively working within the industry, while rare, there may be occasional delays in feedback or adjustments to workshop dates. We appreciate your understanding and patience in these exceptional cases.
